Barnaby is the bear we made first, and the one we still measure everything else against. He is cut from brushed organic cotton, weighted very slightly in the base so he sits up on a shelf, and hand-embroidered so there is nothing to come loose. The seams are double-stitched at the arms and legs — the two places a well-loved bear always gives way first.
