Yes, until it is picked — usually a couple of hours on a weekday. Email us the order number and we will either amend it or cancel and refund it in full.

Every order, free, in recycled kraft paper and cotton twine. Add a note at checkout and we will write the card by hand.

You can. Call the shop during opening hours and we will take the order and the payment over the phone.

Standard UK delivery is £3.99 and free over £50. Next day is £6.99 if you order before 2pm on a working day.

Standard is 3–5 working days and almost always faster. Everything is dispatched the next working day at the latest.

We ship to Ireland and most of Europe. Charges are calculated at checkout and duties are paid by the recipient.

Sixty days, postage paid both ways, opened or not. If it has been played with and did not live up to what we said about it, we still want it back.

Email us with the order number and we will send a prepaid label. Refunds are processed within two working days of arrival.

Age ranges are about safety and about interest. The safety ones — small parts, in particular — are not negotiable. The interest ones are a guide, and children happily ignore them.

Usually within four to six weeks, since most of it is made in small batches. Use the notify button on the product page and we will email the day it lands.

Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. We do not store card details on our systems.

To EN 71-1 (mechanical), EN 71-2 (flammability) and EN 71-3 (migration of certain elements), with a UKCA mark. We hold certificates per batch and will send you the one for your item on request.

Anything with small parts is marked not suitable for under-threes on the listing, on the box and in the accordion on every product page.
